We clarify matters of natural science for you. To this end we conduct extensive research into the literature, on the internet and in databases. We draw up expert opinions and scientific dossiers for you which concern individual products or certain elements in such products. We take into account the use and characteristics of ingredients, especially of additives and of herbal and medicinal plants.
Authorisation Procedure for Health Claims, Additives and Novel Food
- Upon your request, we clarify the feasibility and prospects of success of an authorisation procedure, also through extensive research into and an assessment of scientific literature, and if appropriate of your own studies.
- We advise you about the requirements made especially of potential scientific studies, e.g. as regards the substantiation of health claims or the safety of additives or novel foods.
- We draw up the scientific dossier for your authorisation procedure together with your specialist department or on your behalf.
- We maintain contact with the competent authorities on your behalf.
Borderline Issues
We provide the scientific data basis for definition issues between foods and medicinal products, between cosmetic products, medicinal products and medical devices as well as between cosmetics and biocides.
Second or Counter Expert Opinion
We conduct a critical review of the expert opinions issued by food testing laboratories and scientists as well as of complaints formulated by the authorities, and issue a scientific expert opinion. We coordinate tests in accredited laboratories in order to analyze the composition or quality of your products, and the results flow into our assessment.
Certificate of Marketability
Following a successful product analysis, we can issue a certificate of marketability for your products on request.
