RDA Scientific Consultants GmbH as a competent services provider assists you in the following areas of the foods and nutrition industry:

  • Composition: We provide advice regarding the safe and marketable composition of your food.
  • Definition issues / product category: We clarify on your behalf whether your product is a food or has crossed the borderline to a medicinial product. Likewise we clarify the category into which your product belongs (e.g. fortified, dietetic or novel food, or food supplement).
  • Labelling: We prepare or examine the labelling of your food products. Potential health claims are researched as to their utilization options.
  • Marketability: Having analyzed your products, we issue certificates of marketability and expert opinions.
  • Authorisation and notification procedures: We file applications for novel foods, additives and health claims as well as notifications for food supplements and dietetic foods. 
  • Exemptions and general orders pursuant to the German Act on Foodstuffs and Feed (LFGB)
  • Marketing / Advertising: We provide assistance for the marketing of your products, e.g. by verifying advertising materials and internet sites.
In all the above areas we cooperate with the law firm Meisterernst Rechtsanwälte in order to resolve legal issues.
